PRAYING FOR YOUR PERSONNEL
Praying for Our Military and Their Families
On the first Sunday evening (6:00 PM) of every month we pray for military personnel and their families. You are invited to join us. If you have a loved one in the military and would like us to pray specifically for them, call us (466-0112) with their name and any information you wish to share. Send us a photo. We will add them to our growing number of men and women we are lifting to God in prayer.
Here's how to pray:
Our troops Acts 4:28-31
- Pray that God would protect the men and women serving in our armed forces.
- Pray for protection and provision for their families during this time of separation.
- Pray for the chaplains and other Christian soldiers to be bold in their witness and faith.
- Pray that He will use this time of war and uncertainty to draw thousands of soldiers and their families to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.
Our leaders Col. 1:9-11
- Pray for God's guidance and wisdom for President Bush, his advisors, members of Congress, military leaders and all those in key positions during these critical days.
- Pray that President Bush will have needed resolve and resilience to lead the U.S. as commander-in-chief of our armed forces.
The Iraqi people Col. 4:2-4; John 8:31-33
- Pray for the protection of innocent civilians and for minimal casualties among both soldiers and civilians.
- Pray that Christians in Iraq will be protected and provided with new freedoms to share their faith boldly.
- Pray that God would draw large numbers of Iraqi's to Himself so they might not only know freedom from an oppressive government, but the ultimate freedom only Christ can give.
Prayer Basket
If you have a prayer request we invite you to write it down and place it in the prayer basket in the foyer. All prayer requests will be given attention during prayer time in the library during the Sunday School hour. You are also invited to join us for this time of prayer.

2nd Wind Ladies Work-Out and Bible Study (Every Wednesday - 6:15 PM)
