Lakeview Church of the Nazarene

Our Church can be your home

Welcome to Lakeview's Children's Ministry page. Kids Under Construction is for boys and girls ages four through twelve. Through all of our activities we point children to Jesus and aim to make them true disciples.  We believe children aren't "tomorrow's church" they are "Today's Church."

  Vanessa Harmon, director

Vanessa is our caring and daring Children's Ministry Director.  As mom to four children and "Grammie" to two, she has quite a bit of experience with the little buggers. The good looking guy next to her is her husband, Pastor Mark.

What is Children's Bible Quizzing?

Children's Quizzing is a Bible Study for children in grades 1-6. The philosophy of Children’s Bible Quizzing is Bible study. It is important to help children know what the Bible says and help them demonstrate biblical teachings in actual life situations. The goal of Children’s Bible Quizzing is for children to know the God of the Bible.

Our Children participate in the annual Mission Project Offering.  Wen believe Kids can make an eternal difference in the lives of children who live all over the world through the Kids Reaching Kids 2008 Mission Offering Project: Operation Proclamation.

Faith Comes by Hearing has developed an audio listening device called a Proclaimer. The Proclaimer can by powered by electricity, battery, solar power, or a hand crank. It can be played anywhere around the world! Each Proclaimer has a chip with the Bible in audio format in one of over 200 languages. People who can't read can still hear and learn about God! Operation Proclamation is raising money for placement and follow up for Proclaimers, which costs about $200 each.

We are also part of the Intermountain District Church of the Nazarene Children's Ministries.  Our district's summer camping program, upcoming events, and links to interesting websites can ve found by clicking this link: IMKIDS
